I love me some neon -said the boy from Miami.

Other then Miami  being the most southerly major city in the United States it is also said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I was lucky to be born in this tropical wonderland! But other then the typical reasons like how great the weather is and how stunningly beautiful our beaches are, Miami is so much more then that! In fact all of south florida is more then that! We’ve got so much history and culture! For example drive down Biscayne Blvd or Miami beach the art deco architecture, the NEON lights! all dating back to as early as the 1920’s – A beautiful retro paradise. But the best part is as you look around everyone is different, a city so diverse with about 60% of the resident population being born out of the county, which can only mean one thing… TOO MUCH FUN! I can’t count how many times iv met smart, funny, amazing people from all over the world just standing in line to get a “Cafecito” (coffee)  as us native Miamians like to say. Lol! OH! and thats another thing, we have our own language! Not my proudest fun fact but its true! (click on video below, if you want to laugh) But if you don’t find our lingo amusing thats fine because you don’t need to speak “Miamian” to enjoy our amazing museums, performance art theaters, art galleries or even better our mind blowing street art plastered all over the history filled walls of Wynwood, Miami. Where you can art gaze, have photoshoots, go shopping and even better then shopping, EAT! Food from just about anywhere on every corner! I know it sounds like heaven and thats because it basically is. Especially after stumbling out any of the poppin ass bars within the mile radius of Wynwood. But other then being home to a thriving nightlife, beautiful scenery and endless choices of amazing food the best part of being from Miami as Iv been hinting the whole time, is how all our cultures have been thrown in a blender and poured, making US a delicious Miami smoothie! =]
