THE POKE TAKE OVER

POKE pronounce like Pokemon, minus the mon! Lol! Poke is Hawaiian for “to section” or “to slice or cut”.  Poke is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes like here in south Florida as a main course. Naturally Miami as the capital of other raw fish dishes like ceviche & sushi,  Poke would of course be the next big food trend. Raw fish diced & mixed with hearty greens, yummy veggies, topped with some fresh avocado, is a dream come true! (Don’t forget the hot sauce) It’s no wonder why Poke is taking over and here are a few of my favorite places you can go to try Poke if you haven’t already!

For those of you who are not sure if Poke is for you but still curious I recommend going to Yard House & trying their Poke Nachos! Served as an Appetizer, it is just enough to tease your taste buds!
